at peace

Life sure has gotten busy for us here in Wisconsin. 

We took a week and vacationed in the U.P. of Michigan it was such a relaxing and peaceful time, we hadn't done it in so long that I had forgotten how nice it was.

I had another blog, daily yarns 'n more. I had decided after much thought, to close it forever and it was a permanent decision and after blogging for 15 years over there it's done, no turning back.  

As we were getting ready for bed the other night, I mentioned to my husband that I had deleted my daily yarns blog.  He was to say the least very shocked and surprised, since it was such a huge part of my life for many years. My heart was just not in it anymore, plus I had moved on from what the blog represented and that was my life.  I thought hard if I was going to close this blog, but this one is pretty much photos that I take randomly.  Sometimes I will post a photo of something on our farm but not always.  It's not that I don't want to blog about my life, I do, it's just that I'm having a very hard time fitting what I blogged about over there and doing what I need to do around here on our farm.

So, as sad as it was to say goodbye to my daily yarns 'n more blog, I felt I needed to move on and let that go to start something new.  I feel like this photo screams to me and that is peace, I am at peace with my decision.
