hairball fence

Heading down the country road as I always do I spied something quite unusual.  It's the first time I have ever seen anything like it.  I know nothing about cattle and their behaviors, but I am almost 100% sure that this fence was not a "hot" fence, meaning it had no electricity going to it so that they would keep away from it, and since it was not a hot fence the cattle could rub along side of it and not get zapped, therefore producing hairballs on a good part of the fence line.  I loved it when I looked up and the cattle were watching me, I'm sure trying to figure out what exactly I was doing.

Linking with Good Fences.

  8. Isn't it funny how they just stare at you?!! I love the hairball fence. I wonder what the purpose of the big tires on the ground is.
